Ashtanga Yoga is beautiful, graceful and powerful when breath and concentration are the basis of the practice. Its purpose, as the wonderful Philippa Asher reminded us, -is to access that part of us that is much deeper than the physical, a place where Yoga happens on the inside; and not merely a fancy asana execution.

This was the main message of the 4-day workshop with Philippa during her very first visit to Zagreb, Croatia. The workshop was a rare opportunity to work closely with one of the few KPJAYI Certified Ashtanga Yoga teachers and Advanced B series practitioners in the world.

Philippa shared her impressive knowledge of the Ashtanga Yoga system, and rich experience, having spent the last decade in India, and regularly studied the tradition from its source, at the Mysore based KPJAYI Shala, now run by Sharath Jois.

We at Supersoul are privileged to have a chance to work with a teacher like Philippa, who is foremost humble, loving and kind, - and to help spread this beautiful knowledge, and appreciation for the tradition of Ashtanga Yoga. Thank you @Sangha Yoga Studio for hosting this event.

Meghan Currie's Bali Retreat Photos

This magical 8-day retreat in Bali was a journey of reconnecting to the wild unedited essence residing in us all. A week of movement, stillness, introspection, connection, ecstatic dance, kirtan, energy healing, aqua therapy, sauna parties, scrubs, sunrises and sunsets over the ocean, cacao & coconuts, silly jokes, laughter and tears, and forever-connections.
