The Summer Lovin' Retreat with Nina Vukas is an opportunity to reconnect with body’s natural rhythms, to nurture yourself deeply, and to rediscover what makes you hum with joy.
Start your day with a warming, strengthening Vinyasa class, and nourish your body with freshly made juices and vegetarian brunch. Then breathe in the fragrance of the island's pine forests, and soak in the Adriatic Sea, go on nature hikes, or dive into the culture of the charming old towns of Brac. Relax by the pool, laze around on the beach, honor your body, and create lasting friendships. In the evening, calm your mind, body and spirit with a relaxing sunset practice, learn to meditate, or join a talk on Yoga philosophy. Nina has been practicing yoga since 1998 and has been teaching since 2004. Her considerable Yoga knowledge, her proven experience as a teacher, and manager of yoga related projects, her passion for travel, and integrity with which she approaches the world, make her an essential member of the Supersoul team, and our core teacher.
Nina Vukas is a certified experienced yoga teacher (ERYT 500), Prenatal yoga teacher (RPYT) a founder of Sangha yoga studio in Zagreb, Croatia and a director of Sangha Om yoga 200 hour programme, 300 hour Advanced Vinyasa programme and 300 hour Yoga Therapy teacher training programme.
Nina's foundation in Ashtanga and her advanced certification in the Prana/Vinyasa Flow tradition are apparent in her thoughtful yet playful teaching style, which honors the yoga tradition, while confidently inspiring innovation. Nina has created her own Vinyasa flow method – Spanda Vinyasa. Focusing on using the breath to link the physical alignment with mind and spirit, being mindful of nature’s cycles and individual student’s cycles, Nina's classes are interlaced with traditional tools and wisdom of yoga, chanting, focused breathing, and meditation, and delivered through beautifully and safely sequenced asanas.
Nina has pursued her yoga education with some of world's best teachers including David Swenson, Shiva Rea, Baron Baptiste, Brian Kest, Ana Forrest, Duncan Wong, Seane Corn, Gary Kraftsaw, Twee Merrigan. She finished a 200 hour TT in Miami yoga shala and 500 hour Prana flow teacher training with Shiva Rea and Twee Merrigan, and continued to study Ashtanga in Mysore and with David Swenson. Nina also assisted both Shiva and Twee on international teacher trainings. Nina teaches mostly Vinyasa flow classes, workshops and retreats both at home and internationally. She is the most recognised Vinyasa flow teacher in Croatia and one of the pioneering teachers that brought dynamic styles like Ashtanga and Vinyasa to Croatia.

Our daily program is packed with Yoga.
With twice daily asana classes, meditation, pranayama, talks on Yoga, and food prepared by a yogi-chef you will have a chance to immerse fully in a yogic lifestyle.
We begin our morning practice with meditation and pranayama followed by a different Vinyasa Flow sequence each day. The morning practices are designed to energize and invigorate the body.
Mindfulness and focus on breath are integral parts of each class, and attention is always given to proper alignment of the physical body in order to align at more subtle levels.
In the afternoons, we will explore the physical and subtle body more deeply - working to calm, restore and heal body, mind and spirit through either a gentle Chandra flow class, a Restorative Yoga class or Yoga Nidra.

While there are many activities to choose from during your days on retreat, remember that you are on a journey through yourself and to yourself: all the classes and activities are optional - this is your time! You can choose to relax at the pool or the beach, book a relaxing massage or simply enjoy the peace and quiet of the surrounding natural paradise.
If you choose to explore the magical Island of Brac, our team will be happy to advise you. We can recommend local restaurants, organize excursions, boat or car rentals, and other services. Our home for the week is conveniently located for exploring the island. One can also take the ferry back to Split for a day of shopping and sightseeing in the old town and to see the magnificent 1,700 year-old Roman palace.
The nearest restaurant and a coffee bar are a short walk away. The nearest grocery shops are also within walking distance, while the bigger supermarkets, souvenir shops, green and fish market, pharmacy, hospital, bank, ATM, gas station, more restaurants and bars, can all be found in the town of Supetar, a 5 minutes drive away.

Healthy, delicious, soulful food is at the centre of all of our retreats. On Brac Island our meals are made with ingredients sourced from the organic veggie garden at our doorstep, and with organic locally grown produce where possible. We place great emphasis on our food, and as part of this effort we have established a loving collaboration with Croatia's #1 organic store Bio & Bio, which takes care of all our dietary needs. Our chef is an experienced vegetarian and macrobiotic inspired chef who can also cater to vegan and gluten-free requests.
Our six-bedroom luxury beach villa is just a few meters away from the beach and can accommodate up to 13 people. There is lots of spacious outdoor areas offering fabulous views of the sea and the mainland.
The Villa is surrounded with gardens and lawns and has direct access to a petty pebble beach. The path leading to the beach passes between a small vineyard and a large organic vegetable and fruit garden including a variety of Mediterranean herbs.
Most of the rooms offer spectacular sea views right from your beds.
You can choose between single, double and triple accommodation.
All rooms are equipped with wireless internet and air-conditioning. All bathrooms are equipped with hair driers, soaps, shampoos, toilet paper, towels.

Accomodation before/after the retreat: It is not possible to stay at the Villa before/after the retreat. If you are interested in staying in Zagreb or in one of the local Brac towns before or after the retreat please let us know and we will make a recommendation to you.

The island of Brač is most famous for its radiant white stone, (used to build the White House in Washington, DC!) and for the long pebble beach at Bol that dramatically extends into the crystalline Adriatic Sea. However, the island's true intrinsic beauty lies in its sleepy medieval villages, charming seaside towns, and stunning Mediterranean landscapes of steep cliffs, crystal clear waters, pine forests, and unspoiled nature!
Our Retreat Villa overlooks the beach in the centre of the village Mirca, only 3km west from Supetar, which is the port for ferries connecting the island Brac with the biggest Dalmatian town Split. The ferries go often and the journey takes 50 minutes.
The closest international airport is Split airport, connected with most of the major European airports. Some low cost companies like EASY JET, GERMAN WINGS, WIZZAIR, JET2com, NORWEGIAN, Vueling and Transavia also fly to Split.
We can help you with transfers from the airport to the villa by minibus (via Split ferry port) or by private speed boat directly from the airport to the pier in front of the villa.
AIRPORT TRANSFER TIMES: 1h45min by car/minibus (including ferry time); 45 minutes by a private speed boat or motor yacht.
Zadar international airport is also not far with only 1h35min drive to Split ferry port. Zadar airport is Croatia's RYANAIR base connecting Dalmatia and 16 European cities on low cost direct flights! Dubrovnik airport is 3h30min drive from Split. Minibus transfers are available from these airports as well.
We highly recommend that your rent-a-car and explore the island!

- The EUR400 Deposit is non-refundable.
- Cancellations up to 1 month prior to the retreat starting, will be 100% refunded minus the non-refundable deposit.
- Cancellations with less then 30 days before the retreat date,will not be refunded.

- The organizers are not liable for any illness, delay or cost resulting from your failure to meet these requirements.

CONSENT AND RELEASE
By registering for this programme, you voluntarily understand and accept the following terms and conditions as set out below:
I am aware that participating in the retreat requires a certain level of fitness and general physical health. I acknowledge and voluntarily assume my responsibility to assess my level of fitness and the risks of injury that are associated with physical activity of any kind including any variety of yoga. I confirm that I shall retain all control over my activities at all times. I voluntarily assume full liability and accept the risk of harm, including physical injury and discomfort as a result of my participation in the activities in this programme. I will inform the teachers and/or assistants of any limitations or medical conditions that may affect my practice.
I, or anyone who could claim in my name or on my behalf, my heirs and legal representatives, do hereby voluntarily waive, release and forever discharge the organisers, from any and all liabilities for injuries, damages or death resulting from my participation in the activities during the course of this programme as outlined in the programme schedule or any activities outside of the programme and resort facility, and hold them harmless from all claims which may be brought against them for any such injuries or claims as aforesaid and all costs and expenses incidental thereto.
I agree that organisers reserve the right to accept or kindly decline the application of a participant at any time, to make changes in the itinerary whenever reputed necessary for the comfort, convenience, and safety to all participants. In the case that the event is cancelled or postponed organisers shall have no responsibility beyond the refund of money or expenses paid by the participant if the event cannot be re-scheduled.
I agree that organisers shall not be liable for any cost or expenses for any delay, change in schedule including "“ but not limited to "“ delays, missed flights, failure to comply with visa or health requirements of the city, re-scheduling, and/ or cancellations or overbooking of flights, loss, damage, or injury to property or persons including death, or expenses occasioned by any act of omission by any supplier providing services to any programme participant.
I understand that photos and video may be utilized for communications efforts. To that end, I hereby grant the organizer permission to record the name, likeness, voice, image and/or appearance on the above referenced date or dates of me and to use and publish the pictures, video and digital images and the like without compensation, and I waive any right to inspect or to approve any project that may be created using these materials.
