Wintering reveals some of the most profound and enlightening moments of our human journey. A great wisdom resides in the darkest days.
There are so many seasons of and reasons for unquiet, chaos, and distraction in our lives—so many reasons to rush instead of pause, hustle instead of inhale—that the very way we move through life can become mechanical, like we’re on autopilot.
Winter reminds us to slow down and reconnect with ourselves. A New Moon reminds us to re-commit to nourishing our highest self. To begin again and again. To make room for expansion.
Under the first January New Moon of the New Year, in deep winter, this retreat is an invitation to explore the transformative benefits of rest, nourishment and contemplation. To press pause on the autopilot. To take a deep inhale. To look back at all the work we have done thus far. To look at life and at ourselves—what needs are going unmet, what small, quiet longing refuses to subside, what’s working and what isn’t and maybe even why.
Allowing ourselves this pause can be challenging, but embracing it can enhance our resilience and empower us to better care for ourselves and those around us.
Join me to remember the profound impact of intentional rest and renewal this winter.
“Allowing ourselves this pause can be challenging, but embracing it can enhance our resilience and empower us to better care for ourselves and those around us. ” -Dee
