26 FEBRUARY-7 MARCH 2026
“The forest has its own heartbeat — listen, and you will hear all life speaking.”
A 10 day pilgrimage through Brazil’s pulse, from the vibrant rhythms of Rio to the sacred silence of the rainforest.
This is an invitation to a journey into the beating heart of the world. A place where the roots of spirit run deep — woven through the wisdom of the forest & traditions of the Afro-Brazilian and indigenous lineages. From the vibrancy of Rio de Janeiro to the deep green embrace of the Mata Atlântica, we follow these threads that connect body, land, and culture of Brazil.
Led by Dee Koprivc and local wisdom keepers, this journey weaves together daily yogic and ancestral & spiritual practices — and deep cultural exchange — all held in beauty, humility, and prayer.
In Brazil we travel through two different worlds:
We meet in Rio de Janeiro for a 2 day exploration: think life on Copacabana, vibrant Afro-Brazilian neighborhoods, passionate samba evenings, Candomblé spirit. Devotion in Rio is embodied, and alive in rhythm and connection.
And then we move inward — to the embrace of the Atlantic Forest. For six days, we are received by the “Terra viva”, living land, conscious and alive, intertwined with all who walk beneath her canopy. This is one of the most biodiverse rainforests on Earth — a lush green cathedral where Indigenous wisdom breathes through every leaf & stream. Here, every plant, animal and tree are imbued with spirit, communicating through a sacred dance of mutual respect, balance, and coexistence.
THE PROGRAM
This program focuses on the shared wisdom of yogic and indigenous traditions, their reverence for connection, the intelligence of Nature, and pathways into expanded consciousness. Here, we meet the Earthkeepers and local lineages, guardians of ancestral memory, who tend the spirit of the land through ceremony, song, dance, and devotion.
YOGA
Each day begins with morning class with Dee, a moving meditation to awaken and align body, heart, and mind. Through Vinyasa flows, devotional chants and breathwork we anchor the energy of the day into our being. Practice becomes a ritual of opening, a mindful tuning of the senses, preparing us to arrive to each moments with presence, curiosity, and reverence.
INDIGENOUS WISDOM
Indigenous tribes of the Brazilian rainforest see no separation between the physical and spiritual, viewing the forest as sacred. Their ancestral practices—shamanic rituals and ceremonial plant medicines—nurture this connection. During our retreat in Mata Atlantica we will visit the traditional Pataxó village, walk through the jungle, and sit together with tribal communities to experience this living spirit through traditional practices and optional plant medicine journeys.
